I used to collect them. Last one I bought was the 2004 Daytona 500 winner by Dale Jr. WOW, just realized I haven't bought one in almost a decade. The diecast makers were idiots flooding the market with re-issues, thereby devaluing them. Much like they have done with baseball cards...of course Brian France turning the sport into something less exciting than watching paint dry didn't help either.
I used to collect them to remember the races and it was a hobby and that was when I used to love the sport. I couldn't tell you who won what since they went to the COT. Never thought of ever selling them. But kind of wish I had sold some of them when they were at the height...
