I'd be furious. I know like we to think these guys are made of steel, but they get uncomfortable just like anyone else. Dega is already an uncomfortable track. With his mistake at Texas, his confidence isn't where it needs to be to race for wins just yet, not at a track like dega, that is already perpetually uncomfortable.
I'd rather he save it for the end than use it up now. Who knows, it might be his last real shot a title this year.
It did come off as a little chickenshit, but Jr has always tended to over react when he's uncomfortable. Especially in years he's been knocked around.
I usually give drivers free passes when they do weird shit at plate races. Unless they do shit and blame others....
They shoulda left the plate rules with the 2 car rockets going around the track, bunching them back up is just too high stress for drivers. But everyone bitched about that....
