To me a lot of it seems like some 70 and 80s funk, blues mix. I don't consider it bad. I don't consider it great either. But I do consider it good, if i'm in the mood for that type of music.

After the gark clark jr live album, it's a little underwhelming from a guitar point of view. I think that may be where the bad reviews come from. He set the bar very high, and instead of trying to get back to that bar, he just said screw it, i'm gonna try some other stuff lol

But yah, you might wanna skip it unless you really like what you hear on youtube.
