I agree. Times change. All drivers are celebs these days. And Dale was one of the reasons for that. It started with him and it got bigger when he died. I didn't think the remark was fair then and I don't think it is fair now. You can make a remark about anyone in sports that way. If Michael Phelps doesn't win every race he runs from now on will people say he chose to be a celeb and not a swimmer? I don't think it is fair. People need a balanced life. There is a hell of a lot more out there than a stupid race.
