RCR Museum and Gift Shop
The excitement of NASCAR
Winston Cup racing can be found at the Richard Childress Racing Museum in Welcome, North
Carolina.
View many of RCR's greatest race cars along with famous machines from Indy car and NHRA.
Plus, see the 1998 Daytona 500 winning car that Dale Earnhardt drove to victory and
Richard's personal collection of hot rods.
Also, view many of our
trophies, awards, and unique RCR memorabilia.
Our museum also offers a self-guided tour during operational hours. Guided tours of our
Team #3 shop are given weekdays at 10:00 AM and again at 2:00 PM. Tickets are issued at
the gift shop desk immediately prior to tour departures.
A viewing area is offered of the Team #31 shop weekdays.

Directions to The RCR Museum & Gift Shop:
From Winston-Salem, N.C.- Take Hwy 52 south to the Welcome , N.C. exit #97. Turn Right,
The Museum is about 3 miles on the left hand side of the road. Look for the brown sign
pointing to the Museum . Turn left on Industrial Dr. and go straight into the parking lot.
From Charlotte , N.C. - Take I-85 North towards Lexington , N.C. Take Business 85 / Hwy 52
north (exit #87) Stay on Hwy 52 north towards Winston-Salem to Welcome Exit #92 .
Turn Right and go approxamently 2 miles. Look for the brown sign pointing to the Museum.
Turn Right on Industrial Dr. Go Straight into the parking lot.
